✨Exciting News – A New Chapter for Our Vacation Homes!
Dear Friends and Guests,
We wanted to share some exciting news with you personally. After many wonderful years of hosting guests at our vacation homes, we’ll be passing the torch to new owners, Clarissa and Mike, who will continue welcoming visitors with the same care and hospitality that have made this place so special.
This decision wasn’t easy — these cabins have been a labor of love, and the memories made here, both ours and our guests’, mean the world to us. But we’re thrilled to know it will continue to be cared for by people who are equally committed to providing a warm, relaxing, and memorable mountain getaway. This transition marks a new chapter for both us and the property. The new owners share our love for the homes and the surrounding area, and they’re committed to maintaining the same comfort, charm, cleanliness, and fragrance free experience you’ve come to expect.
If you already have a confirmed reservation, rest assured that everything will remain the same — your booking, amenities, and check-in process will continue smoothly. The new owners will be in touch with any updates or introductions soon.
We’re deeply grateful for every guest who has stayed, shared stories, and helped us create such wonderful memories here. It’s been our joy to host you, and we’re thrilled to know this special place will continue to bring joy to future guests for years to come.

With Love, Light, and our Deepest Gratitude,
Michelle and Shannon

Discover what’s great about Bryson City, a peaceful mountain town bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with unique shops, galleries, and restaurants. Surrounding our small town, there’s a wild vacation paradise — rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, boating and fishing on Fontana Lake, scenic railroad excursions, including the Polar Express, world class trout streams and mountain biking on the famous Tsali trails. We have trails for hiking, creeks for tubing, horseback riding, zip-lining, and beautiful waterfalls. We’re home to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and the North Carolina half of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park....and we’re close - just an hour west of Asheville NC, one hour & 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN,  and 3 hours north of Atlanta GA.

Hi! We're Michelle and Shannon. Welcome to our @smoky_mtn_paradise! In 2013, we discovered these 12 acres surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Nantahala National Forest. Little did we know that this completely undeveloped land had a million dollar view of a horseshoe bend on Fontana Lake and the GSMN Park! It took viewing Google Maps to see what a gem we had found. We moved to Bryson City in 2014 after selling our home and fine art printing business near Asheville, NC. My husband, Shannon grew up in Bryson City, and I fell in love with this "Gateway to the Smokies" town when we built a houseboat at Almond Boat Park in 2013. It still floats on Fontana Lake today. We bought a 400 sq ft tiny house to live in while we started building "Eagle's Landing" and "Eagle's Nest" at the end of 2014. We were able to do this with our own hands, the help of some great friends, and a very talented builder. These 2 cabins went on the vacation rental market in 2015, and we've had the honor of hosting hundreds of happy guests ever since. We completed building our dream home in 2021, and now have the opportunity to share our "Tiny Tuck" with you! This is a completely different lifestyle than we're used to, and we are incredibly grateful for all the love, support, and Divine miracles that we have been blessed with along the way. We hope you have the opportunity to experience this magical paradise, because we certainly love sharing it.

Fontana Lake and Park View Cabins offer 3 Vacation Cabin Rentals,

"Eagle's Landing", "Eagle's Nest", and "Tiny Tuck"

All 3 homes have Exclusive Panoramic Views of Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We are Located in Bryson City, NC on 12 Acres that are surrounded by 600 Acres of the Nantahala National Forest. Bald eagles and other wildlife sightings are common. Black bear, deer, elk, and otters can be seen swimming in the lake below. Atmospheric changes on Fontana Lake and the GSMN Park create a masterpiece daily, and when the sky is dark and clear enough, the Milky Way can be spotted in the night sky.

All 3 of our freestanding vacation homes are chemical fragrance free and Medical Medium friendly.
Be at peace knowing these homes are completely free of any toxic fragrances or chemical cleaners. There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath.
